Create a WFP Model in SpotlightXL

In SpotlightXL, go to Model > Setup.
Select New Model from the model list box. Name the workforce model.
Enter a Description of the model.
Note:
The model must not be locked to save the description.
Select model Type as Master.
Note:
The Master model represents model data pulled from the Planful Financial or Workforce cube and is the starting point for creating additional models.
The Enable Change Data Tracking field will be No.
Select Yes [Workforce] for Enable Direct Access.
The following fields will be system-populated once the model is saved:
Created On
Created By
Modified On
Modified By
Status
Dimensions will be auto-populated once the Workforce cube is selected.
Click Save.
Click Generate Model.
Once the model is generated, all the information related to Alternate Hierarchies, Attributes Name, Maps, and Calculation Names will be available.
Note:
In Analyze, Reports, and Excel Reports, when users select non-aggregated measures like HireDate, PositionEndDate, PositionStart, etc. (meaning data types that return dates and text), MultiPOV will not be available in workforce dimensions such as Employee, EmployeeType, Position, PositionType, HomeBudget, PositionBudgetEntity, and CompensationItem.
