To clear financial data posted by the Consolidation process or Data Load Rules, follow the steps below:
Navigate to Maintenance > Data Integration > Data Load Rules.
Click Clear Data. The Clear Data screen will be displayed.
By default, Finance is selected for the Select Area.
In the Selection Criteria, select the following to clear the data:
Scenario - the scenario from which you want to delete data. Scenarios must be unlocked.
Optionally, select segment members that are populated based on the segments defined in the Define Financial Segments configuration task page.
Optionally, select Reporting, the highest level in a rollup, which contains children and calculation parameters.
From Period - the period from which you want to delete data. You may only delete data from unlocked periods. Future data will most likely be impacted.
Module - the module that contains posted data you want to delete. You might delete it from Data Load Rules and the Consolidation module.
Optionally, select the Template you want to delete data from.
Click Delete.
How to delete data for auto-created members?
To delete data associated with Auto-Created Members, do the following:
Go to Maintenance > Data Integration > Clear Data.
Select the appropriate Area (e.g., Workforce, Financial) depending on where the data resides.
Choose the relevant Scenario (e.g., Actual, Budget) and Time Periods for which you want to clear data.
For each dimension (e.g., Product, Department), select the specific members.
Select the Module.
After setting your selection criteria, click Preview to review the data that will be deleted.
If the previewed data is correct, click Delete to remove the data associated with the selected auto-created members.

Can I see a log of everyone who has cleared data in Planful?
Yes. Planful tracks all data deletion activities performed through the Clear Data page. You can view these records in the Application Audit Details under Maintenance > Application Audit > View Audit Log.
How to Filter Audit Logs
Select Clear Data as Audit Area from the drop-down.
Select Delete as Type.
Set a Date Range using the From and To fields.
Select an Application User. You can select All to view all user logs.
Click View Logs.
