How to Create a Report Based Off Multiple Models in SpotlightXL

With Dynamic Planning, you can build a report based on multiple models. For example, if you wanted to view the operating expenses for both the corporate model and a foreign entity model in one report.

1. In SpotlightXL, select Report > Design.
2. Click New Report.
3. Using Capture Data, copy and paste the report details from the captured analyses, which are indicated by the red caret in the upper right-hand corner of a cell. For more information, see the Capture Data section.
4. Tab back and forth between captured analyses and the Report (New Report) tab to capture and paste all of the desired data. Click Save.
5. Enter a name for the report in the Name field and click Save.
6. Optional, select the group or groups you want to have access to the report.
7. Click Save.
8. Select Report > Run to view the report.
