How to Delete a Model in SpotlightXL

Models can be deleted if they are no longer needed in your application. Ensure that the models being deleted are not in use by any user.

To delete a model, follow these steps:

1. In SpotlightXL, navigate to the Model > Setup.
2. Select the model you want to delete from the Model property.
3. Select Clear Model from the ribbon. This action will put the model in a Not Generated state, allowing you to perform activities such as updating the model definition or adding lookups.
4. Click Delete from the ribbon and confirm the deletion in the confirmation message.

When a model is deleted, all associated artifacts are also deleted, including:

• Formulas
• Calculations
• Maps
• Views
• Permissions
• Data
