This article explains how to enable or disable the Design Excel Report permission for Contributor user roles in SpotlightXL. Admins can manage this setting under Manage > Navigation Access by selecting Yes or No and saving the changes. Reviewer roles do not have design access.

In SpotlightXL, select the Manage > Navigation Access.
For the Contributor role, under the Design Excel Report heading, select the Yes or No option to allow or disallow design access for Contributor users.
Click Save.

Note:

Reviewer users do not have design access to Excel Reports, similar to formatted reports. For the Reviewer role, the Design Excel Report option is not available.
