You can move employees from once cost center from the Employees page or Employees tab. Here's how you can navigate:
To move the employees from one cost center to another, do the following:
- If you want to perform from Employees Page:
- Navigate to Structured Planning to open the Planning Control Panel.
- Select the scenario, budget entity, and workforce template and open the workforce template in Input mode.
- If you want to perform from Employees tab:
- Navigate to Maintenance > Workforce > Workforce Planning Setup and you will be on the Employees tab.
- Select the scenario and budget entity.
- Search for the employee you wish to move within the Employee List.
- Change the Home Budget Entity by any of the following either by double-clicking the Home Budget Entity column to modify the existing value as shown below.
or you can directly click the Employee Number link for the selected employee and update the Home Budget Entity field with the new cost center in the employee profile. - Navigate to the Allocations tab in the employee's profile.
- Allocate the employee's wages to the appropriate department or cost center by making the necessary adjustments.
