Users may need to roll forward a scenario at the end of each forecast cycle to maintain an up-to-date working version. For example, if the February forecast cycle is complete, you’ll need to create a new scenario for the next cycle (March Forecast).

To roll forward a scenario, do the following:

  1. Navigate to Maintenance > Administration > Scenario Setup.

  2. On the Scenario List page, select the scenario you want to roll forward.

  3. Click the More (three vertical dots) icon and click Lock.

    Note:

Rename the completed forecast scenario according to your naming convention, if not already updated.

  4. Create a new Forecast scenario for the current cycle. Use Data Seeding to seed completed scenario (For ex: Jan Forecast).

  5. Grant permissions to the users for the newly created scenario.

  6. Select the created scenario, click the More (three vertical dots) icon, and click Unlock.
