How to rollover to a new year?
To roll over to new year, do the following:
Navigate to Maintenance > Administration > Scenario Setup.
On the Scenario List page, select the scenario you want to roll forward.
Click the More (three vertical dots) icon and click Lock.
Note:
Rename the completed forecast scenario according to your naming convention, if not already updated.
Create a new Forecast scenario for the current cycle. Use Data Seeding to seed completed scenario (For ex: Jan Forecast).
Grant permissions to the users for the newly created scenario.
Select the created scenario, click the More (three vertical dots) icon, and click Unlock.
Roll to next year (next cycle)
How do I roll forward a scenario?
Users may need to roll forward a scenario at the end of each forecast cycle to maintain an up-to-date working version. For example, if the February forecast cycle is complete, you’ll need to create a new scenario for the next cycle (March Forecast).
