To select an alternate hierarchy in the SpotlightXL, do the following:
Open Microsoft Excel and launch SpotlightXL.
Open an existing View or Report, or create a new one using the Analyze tab.
Navigate to the row or column axis where a dimension is placed (such as, Account, Department).
Click the arrow next to the dimension name to view available hierarchies.
Select the relevant Alternate Hierarchy from the list.
Click Apply to confirm your selection and update the view or report.
Click Refresh to load the data based on the selected alternate hierarchy.
Click Save to save the updated view with the hierarchy selection.
Note:
There is a known issue where the selected alternate hierarchy may revert to the main hierarchy after performing certain actions. It is recommended to verify the hierarchy selection before saving or sharing the view or report.
