This feature supports selecting multiple members in Office reports (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word). It applies to all main, alternate, attribute, and attribute hierarchies in page filters. However, large selections may cause timeout issues.

In Practice: Selecting Multiple Members in a View in SpotlightXL

  1. Open a view by navigating to Analyze > Data > Select the View.

  2. Click the drop-down menu for the page filter (e.g., the All Department dimension).

  3. Select the checkboxes next to each dimension member you want to display (e.g., Sales and Marketing, and Operations).

  4. The selected members will be displayed as comma-separated values.

Notes:

  • If a user moves dimensions from the page to the row or column areas, the dimension tree will update automatically.

  • After arranging the dimensions as needed, the user can save the view as a report and run it.
