Whether you need assistance using the application, performing a specific task, or need some information, have a conversation with Planful AI, just as you talk with your coworker. It provides easy-to-understand responses that you can follow and perform any task quickly.

Favorite Questions in Planful AI

The Favorite Questions feature in Planful AI enables users to save and reuse frequently asked questions.

  1. Click the Favorite (star) icon next to a question to add to your favorites.

Notes:

  • Each user can store up to 20 favorite questions, so you can easily access them later. If you would like to save more, just remove one of your existing favorites to make room for a new one.

  • Users can remove favorites by clicking the delete icon in the Favorite menu or clicking the filled Favorite (star) icon to unmark it directly from the conversation.

Planful AI’s chat interface provides relevant guidance tailored to your queries with crisp and clear information in the interface that you can readily use. It offers the ability to summarize information and provide step-by-step instructions, as well as the convenience of accessing comprehensive information through the list of source articles.

Find and Open Reports and Dashboards

Planful AI enables you to locate and open reports and dashboards efficiently. Users can retrieve these by name using natural language queries. It scans all reports and dashboards accessible to the user within the application that match the query and displays a list of relevant items. Users can then select and open the desired report or dashboard directly.

  • Open the Revenue Report

  • Open the Budget Owner Dashboard

  • Show me the Sales Dashboard

How To Use Planful Help Assistant?

To use the assistant, do the following:

  1. Log in to your Planful application, navigate to the top toolbar, and click Planful AI.

    The Planful AI dialog box appears.

  2. Enter your question in the search field and click the Arrow icon, or press enter.
    You can also use the sample prompts to start asking questions.

    Planful AI displays your answer with related source articles.

    • To share feedback when the response is incorrect or irrelevant, click the Thumbs Down icon.
      FeedbackSelect the applicable options, or enter your feedback in the text field and click Submit.

    • To start a new conversation if you receive irrelevant responses, click the Start new chat icon.

How does Planful AI work?

Planful AI leverages an LLM model to provide users with powerful in-product assistance functionality. This integration allows users to access the search functionality without needing to visit our documentation site.


Does Planful AI retain my previous questions?

Yes, Planful AI retains the history of your interactions during the session to provide a seamless experience. When you log out, the session ends and history information is lost.


How do I provide feedback to Planful AI?

You can provide feedback by clicking the Thumbs Down icon. A dialog box will appear where you can select relevant options, enter your comments, and share your feedback.


How can I adjust the Planful AI dialog box?

You can drag and move the dialog box or collapse it altogether, depending on your needs and screen resolution. That way, you can follow instructions while using the Planful application.


What happens to my data and chat history? Is it stored anywhere, or are prompts tracked?

Your data and chat history are only available during your active session. Once you log out, all prior chats are cleared, and we do not retain any responses beyond your session time. However, if you provide feedback (e.g., a thumbs-down with additional information), we capture that feedback to improve the quality of our answers.
