Overview

Use a Document in the Reports section to upload any artifacts from the external system to the Planful application. The uploaded documents are stored in the File Cabinet for later use.

How to Create a Document?

Load documents from outside of Planful to save them on the File Cabinet page. To create a report document, do the following:

  1. From the New Options list box, click Document. The Add Document window is displayed.

  2. Enter the Document Code and Name in the respective fields.

  3. Click Browse and select the required document to load. Load the following types of documents: .gif,.png,.jpeg,.jpg,.bmp,.tif,.doc,.docx,.xls,.xlsx,.ppt,.pptx,.txt,.pdf,.csv,.vsd.

  4. From the pane below the Report Folder field, select the required location.

  5. Click OK to add the new document to the selected location.
