Dynamic Planning integrates seamlessly with Workforce Planning, establishing a read-only connection. This integration enhances users' reporting capabilities for workforce-related data, within Workforce Planning reports. Users can define reports covering employee data, attributes, pay plans, compensation items, and other relevant aspects.

• Model Setup: Two simple steps in Dynamic Planning enable read-only access to Workforce Reporting

• Dimension Security: Dynamic Planning honors Structured Planning's data dimension security, showing users only their accessible data and Scenario metadata

• Reporting: Full Dynamic Planning reporting and analyze tools are available via the Spotlight Web or SpotlightXL

Additionally, users can define reports across employee and master data, providing a holistic view of data across various planning models. Dynamic Planning and Workforce metadata integration utilize cube data similar to the DAP model, leveraging metadata obtained during the integration process.

Prerequisites

To use Workforce Planning (WFP) on Dynamic Planning, ensure the following settings are configured:

• Applications should be unified by support

• Set the Enable Direct Access to WFP flag to true

• Set the Enable DAP Adhoc Axis API flag to true

• Set the Enable Staging Metadata Download flag to false
