Article summary

Duplicating goals, campaigns, or expense groups can be a time-saving technique when you want to create something new that is similar to an existing item.

In Planful for Marketing, you have the option to duplicate (or copy-and-paste) any goal, campaign, or expense group. This allows you to quickly replicate an item rather than starting from scratch. For example, you can use a duplicated event campaign template or create recurring digital campaigns using this feature.

The following steps will guide you on how to duplicate a campaign, although the process is the same for duplicating an expense group or a goal:

  1. Go to  > Campaigns > All Campaigns.
  2. Select the campaign you want to duplicate.
  3. On the campaign detail page, navigate to Manage Campaign > Duplicate Campaign.
  4. A small confirmation pop-up appears at the bottom of your screen, making it easy to access your new campaign.
  5. To view your newly duplicated campaign, simply click on View details in the same pop-up.
  6. If the pop-up disappears, you can return to the Manage page by clicking either Cancel or Save & Close.

  7. The newly duplicated campaign appears as Copy [name of your original campaign] with a New indication.

Remember that the same steps apply to duplicating an expense group or a goal.
