Planful for Marketing: Segment Group Roll-Up Budgets Now Honors Applied Filters
With this release, Segment Group roll-up budgets on the Manage page now correctly honors the segment filters applied. Previously, when filtering for specific segments within a Segment Group, the roll-up budget continued to display the full amount for all underlying segments, even those excluded by the filter. This enhancement ensures that Segment Group totals dynamically update to reflect only the filtered segments, providing accurate and expected roll-up behaviour. This update includes:
Roll-up amounts at the Segment Group level now update based on the filtered segments — and this applies not only to Budget, but also Forecast, Actual Spend, Remaining Committed, and Remaining Planned values.
Accurate behaviour across Monthly, Quarterly, and Yearly views
Support for both Monthly and Quarterly budgeting
Consistent filtered roll-up values across Campaigns and Expense Groups, and Unallocated fields
Available to both Admin and Read-write users
Previously, a Segment Group total always showed the combined amount for all segments inside it—such as India + UK + USA.

After applying a filter to show only India, the Segment Group roll-up now recalculates and displays only India’s amounts, excluding USA. This ensures the Segment Group total accurately reflects the segments selected in the filter.
