Avoiding Mismatched Lines Between Sub and Main Templates

A mismatch in the Subline occurs when the details are not in sync with their main template (subline template saved but the main template not saved). If you are using Simulation Engine, then you can avoid the mismatch by using the Enable Subline Processing feature in the Template Setup. This feature is applicable for the new templates being created and is unavailable for the existing templates.

Access the Template Add or Edit page by navigating to Maintenance > Templates > Template Setup. Select a template and click Edit or add a new template. On the General template page, select the Enable Subline Processing checkbox.

Subline Processing will process the sublines of the template first and then process the main lines in the template when the Simulation Engine runs. This will update the main lines in the template with the correct Subline total. This feature is available for the following templates:

• Global Template - Single Copy

• Global Template - Entity Copy

• Allocation Template

• Line Item Template

• HR Template
