Cloud Scheduler is a scheduling solution that runs in the cloud. It is used to automatically run data load rules, report collections, the Consolidation process, Dynamic Journals, Financial Package reports, scenarios, Simulation Engine processes, and translations export at a scheduled date and time. It consists of two tabs:

  • Job Manager
  • Process Flow

To access the Cloud Scheduler page, go to Maintenance > Admin >Cloud Scheduler. You also require specific access to use Cloud Scheduler, click here for more details.

Here are the functionalities available on the Cloud Scheduler page. Click each tab to find more details.

This is the section where you monitor completed processes and their status. You can refresh the Job Manager page by clicking the reload icon. Each schedule in the Process Flow corresponds to a Job, which performs a predefined set of tasks as specified in the Process Flow.

Reload

You can refresh the Job Manager page by clicking the reload icon.


Edit

You can click the edit icon to reschedule processes for a different date or time, but processes that ran immediately cannot be edited.


Delete

You have the option to delete schedule line details for any job type, including scheduled, queued, or completed jobs.


Detail Log

You can access the Detail View page to obtain additional information about the process. The fields displayed on this page are determined by the selected job.


Apply Filter

You can apply a filter to view any specific data on the Job Manager page.


Print

You can print the Job Manager file by clicking the print icon.


Export as excel

You can export the Job Manager file by clicking the export as excel icon.

A Process Flow can be scheduled to run once or regularly. It consists of a set of tasks that can be defined to execute either in parallel or sequentially

Add

Click Add to include a process flow. The Add Process Flow page presents three tabs:

Edit

You have the option to edit the process flow by clicking the edit icon.


Delete

You have the option to delete the process flow by clicking the delete icon.


Unschedule

You can unschedule a process flow by selecting Unschedule. If a process flow is saved without entering scheduler details or clicking the Save & Schedule, it won't be listed on the Process Flow page, and no jobs will be added to the Job Manager for unscheduled process flows.


Apply Filter

You can apply a filter to view any specific data on the Process page.
