The Hierarchy Management page allows you to manage the structure of your Group dimension. From this page, you can easily add new groups, edit existing ones, or delete groups that are no longer needed. These groups are essential for building your Org Chart, which reflects the organizational structure used in reporting and analysis.
Add Groups: You can create and name new groups within the Group dimension to represent different structures of your organization.
Edit Groups: If your organizational structure changes, you can update the group names or properties accordingly.
Delete Groups: You can remove outdated or unnecessary groups to keep your hierarchy clean and accurate.
Once you have configured the Sub Consolidation Process and enabled additional segments for the Org Chart, you can use Hierarchy Management to include specific groups in the subsidiary consolidation process.
Note:
The application automatically creates a system-defined group called No Group in the Group dimension. This group cannot be edited or deleted. It serves as a default for entities not assigned to any user-defined group. To learn more about No Group in Org Chart, click here.
Groups cannot be added, edited, or deleted using the Data Load Rules (DLR) process.
