This task is available for all types of models.
- With Analytic and Master models, clearing the model also moves the model from a Generated to a Not Generated state.
- With a Source model, such as HACPM_Financial, clearing the model deletes the data but does not move the model to a Not Generated state. HACPM_Financial is always in a Generated state.
- Select the Model task and the Setup subtask.
- Ensure your Model is selected from the Model drop-down.
- Select Clear Model from the ribbon.
- The status of Analytic or Master models is changed to Not Generated once this step is complete.
- When a model is in a Not Generated state, it will not be discoverable by a user. Meaning they will not see it in the Model drop-downs throughout Dynamic Planning (such as Analyze > Data).
- Perform your changes.
- Once you complete your changes then you will need to Generate a Model to put the model in a Generated state.
