Models can be deleted if you no longer need them in your application. Take care to ensure that the models being deleted are not used by any user.
To delete a model perform the following steps:
- Select the Model task and the Setup subtask.
- Select the model you want to delete from the Model property.
- Select Clear Model from the ribbon. This will put the model in a Not Generated state and allow you to perform activities against this model (i.e. update the model definition, add lookups, etc.).
- Select Delete from the ribbon. Agree to the confirmation message.
When the model is deleted all associated artifacts are also deleted:
- Formulas
- Calculations
- Maps
- Views
- Permission
- Data
