Reference Cube is the best option if you're looking to get data at a roll-up with hundreds of leaf members within it.
As an admin, there are certain limitations that you should keep in mind when using Reference Cube. These limitations include:
- The template is always opened in the context of a fixed scenario. While performing a Reference cube mapping, you have the flexibility to select other Scenario and Time, but once selected, it pulls data from the selected scenario and time and is applied to each period of the current scenario. So ensure that you do not override these selections.
- If you're retrieving financial data that is dependent on currencies, then you should be mindful of cross-currency situations. If the company is set up for cross-currencies, then you should not override the company selection.
As an admin, you should keep these limitations in mind while setting up a template to ensure that the data is accurate and reliable.
