How to Copy all Compensation Items and Rates from One Scenario to Another?

There are two ways you can copy compensation items and rates from one scenario to another.

Copying Templates to Different Scenarios

You can copy the HR - Workforce Planning template from the source scenario to the Default scenario on the Template Setup page.

  1. Go to Maintenance> Templates > Template Setup.
    1. Select the source scenario and the HR - Workforce Planning template.
    2. Click More.
    3. Select Copy to Default Scenario.

  2. Copy the template from the Default scenario to the target scenario:
    1. Select the target scenario.
    2. Go to Mappings > Template Mapping.

    3. Select the HR - Workforce Planning template.
  3. Click Save.
    Note:
    This process copies all employees along with the template.

Creating a New Forecast Scenario

Another option is to create a new Forecast scenario seeded entirely with the Budget scenario. In this case, you effectively copy the Budget scenario and convert it to a Forecast scenario.
