How to Deploy Standard Reports and Make Them Available to Users

You can complete the following tasks in the specified order to deploy Standard Reports.

Task 1 - Complete the following steps to deploy a standard report:

  1. Navigate to Maintenance > Report Administration> Standard Reports.

  1. Verify the Standard Reports tab is selected.

  1. Select the appropriate reports.

  1. Click the More list box and select Deploy Reports.

  1. The progress bar at the bottom of the screen will indicate when deployment is complete. Deployed reports have an Active status.

Task 2 - Complete the following steps to provide user access to a report:

  1. Navigate to Maintenance > Admin > User Management.

  1. Select a user and click the Security Options icon.

  1. Select Report Access.

  1. If the user has no access to any reports, click the Add a Folder or Report Permission option displayed on the screen.
    SR3For users with access to some reports, click the Bulk Action drop-down and select the Add Permissions option. Navigate to the standard report created in task 1 in the displayed hierarchy and select it.

Optionally, you can provide access to a group of users by completing task 3 instead of task 2.

Task 3 - Complete the following steps to provide group access to a report:

  1. Navigate to Maintenance > Admin > User Management.

  1. Select a user group and click the Security Options icon.

  1. Select Report Access.

  1. If the user group has no access to any reports, click the Add a Folder or Report Permission option displayed on the screen. For user groups with access to some reports, click the Bulk Action drop-down and select the Add Permissions option. Navigate to the standard report created in task 1 in the displayed hierarchy and select it.
