Dynamic Planning How to Delete a Model

Models can be deleted if you no longer need them in your application. Take care to ensure that the models being deleted are not used by any user.

To delete a model perform the following steps:

1. Select the Model task and the Setup subtask.

2. Select the model you want to delete from the Model property.

3. Select Clear Model from the ribbon. This will put the model in a Not Generated state and allow you to perform activities against this model (i.e. update the model definition, add lookups, etc.).

4. Select Delete from the ribbon. Agree to the confirmation message.

   When the model is deleted all associated artifacts are also deleted:

   • Formulas

   • Calculations

   • Maps

   • Views

   • Permission

   • Data
