Reports: Enhanced Date Column in Transactions Tab of Drill Through Report

With this release, we have made the following enhancements in the Transactions tab of the drill through report:

  • Column name change from DateTime to Date

The column name DateTime has been changed to Date in the Transactions tab of the drill through report. Now, the column will display only the Transaction Date. Prior to this release, the Transaction Date and Time were displayed in the column.

  • The date format is displayed based on your system settings. Date format is retained when you export a Drill Through report.

Modeling: Ability to Suppress Zero Values in an External Source Model Map

We’ve updated the External Source Model (ESM) Map page with an option to suppress zero values while moving data from an ESM to a master model. When ESMs are created with date calculations along with monthly fields, based on how the calculations are defined and the data is structured, the result may be zero values, which populate the ESM. The suppress zero values option allows you to decide whether to move data resulting in zero values to the master model.

In Practice:

  1. In SpotlightXL, navigate to Model > External Source Model > Source Map.

  2. Select a Source Map or add a new one.

  3. In the Suppress Zero Values field, select Yes to suppress values that equal zero; meaning that this data will NOT be moved to the master model as only non zero values will be moved. Or, select No to move all the data that is available in ESM based on the map.

Note:
By default, this field is set to YES.
