Map Attributes to Initiatives

Article summary

Now that you've added all the attributes you need, map them to Initiatives.

  1. On the Attribute List page, select an attribute and click Initiative Mapping.

  2. Select the attributes you want to map on the left pane and click the forward arrow to move them to the Assigned Attribute(s) pane.

  3. Under Display (shown below) , select the checkbox next to the attributes you want displayed.

  4. Use the up and down arrows (shown below) to move the attributes up and down within the list, which is also how they are displayed when adding an initiative via the Planning Control Panel.

For example, notice that there are four mapped attributes below with Display selected. And, on the Initiative Input template in the Planning Control Panel, the four attributes are displayed. All other attributes are not displayed but available for selection when the Add button is clicked.

  1. Now, click the Add button on the Initiative Input template accessed from the Planning Control Panel . Notice that all attributes are available for end-user selection/input based on those added when Initiative Attribute mapping was performed.

Note:
Once an attribute is used in a template, you cannot unmap it.
