How to Delete a Dynamic Journal?

You may want to delete unused or inactive Dynamic Journals. When you delete a Dynamic Journal, all the associated journal entries are also deleted. However, any associated journal entries that are in the locked period are not deleted. Only associated journal entries that belong to prior open periods are deleted. Furthermore, you need to clear data before deleting a journal entry to completely remove the data. To learn more about clearing journal entry data, click here.
Navigate to Consolidation to open the Consolidation Control Panel.
Select Scenario, Period, and Entity.
Click Dynamic Journals under Processes. The Dynamic Journal grid appears.
In the Consolidation Control Panel, under Processes, click Dynamic Journals. The Dynamic Journal grid appears.
Select the Dynamic Journal.
Click Delete.
In the confirmation dialog that appears, click OK. The Dynamic Journal is deleted.
Note:
You can delete many Dynamic Journal lines at once by selecting the checkbox next to each and clicking the Delete icon.
How to Delete Multiple Dynamic Journal Lines?
Navigate to Consolidation to open the Consolidation Control Panel.
Select Scenario, Period, and Entity.
Click Dynamic Journals under Processes. The Dynamic Journal grid appears.
Select a Dynamic Journal and click Edit.
In the Journal Entry tab, select the checkbox in the header to select all lines or select more than one line and click Delete.
In the confirmation dialog that appears, click OK.
