Planful for Marketing: Introducing the New Customize Available Budget Calculation Feature
With this release, we have introduced the new "Customize Available Budget Calculation" feature in Planful for Marketing, which enables administrators and end-users to customize the calculation of the Available Budget.
The Customize Available Budget Calculation feature introduces two levels of customization:
For Administrators: Create standardized formulas for calculating Available Budget at the budget level, ensuring consistent logic across all primary views, including: Manage Page and its Drawer. This also eliminates manual workarounds and applies uniform logic without requiring spreadsheet exports or manual recalculations.
For Non-Admin Users and Admin Users: Modify Available Budget calculations locally on the Manage Page for analysis and reporting, without impacting global formulas.

Planful for Marketing: Enhanced Forecast Visibility Across Views
With this release, Planful for Marketing now provides consistent and comprehensive forecast values across your marketing data—whether you work with Goals, Segments, Campaigns, or Thematic Campaigns.
With these updates, you can achieve:
Greater clarity on how your marketing dollars are forecasted across all levels
Real-time insights from filters and dynamic updates
Aligned and accurate totals across pages, views, and report summaries
Key enhancements include:
Expanded Forecast Roll-Ups Across All Views on the Manage Page: Forecast values are now aggregated by Month, Quarter, and Year across Goals, Segment Groups, and Thematic Campaigns. Previously, Forecast values on the Manage Page were only manually entered values at the individual object level (e.g., Campaigns and Expense Groups).
Enhanced Totals and Grand Total: The Forecast column and Grand Total row on the Manage Page now display monthly and overall forecast summations.
Forecast Support for "Campaigns & Expense Groups" and "Unallocated" Rows: These rows now display roll-up forecast values. Previously, these rows had blanks in the Forecast column. Now they show
Forecast Roll-Up Reflected in Goal Drawer View: The Goal drawer view now shows aggregated forecast values for all campaigns and expense groups associated with a goal. Previously, the drawer did not show a summarized Forecast.
Enhanced Forecast Summation for Thematic Campaigns: Thematic Campaigns now display rolled-up forecast values based on their immediate children. Previously, Thematic Campaigns did not show Forecast values directly.
Expanded Forecast into Chart View: Forecast values are now consistently visible in chart formats on the Manage Page for Monthly, Quarterly, Yearly, as well as all "Organize By" views.
Budget Page Enhancements: Segment Groups on the Budget Page now display rolled-up forecast values from their segments. Previously, Forecast values were only visible at the individual segment level. Now, users can see rolled-up Forecasts at the group level.
These enhancements aim to provide greater clarity, real-time insights, and aligned totals across the marketing data in Planful for Marketing.
