The Org Chart tab in the Consolidation Control Panel provides an interactive, visual representation of the organizational structure of groups for a selected period. This graphical view offers a more intuitive way to understand the hierarchy and relationships between entities within a group.
Key Benefits:
Easy Comprehension of Hierarchy - The visual layout presents parent-child relationships clearly, helping users quickly grasp how departments, entities, or regions roll up within a group.
Period-Specific Context - The structure displayed is dynamic and reflects the organization’s configuration during the selected time period, ensuring accuracy for time-bound reporting or audits.
User-Friendly Navigation - Node expansion/collapse, and clean labeling make it simple to explore the structure—especially helpful for large or complex organizations.
Using the Org Chart, you can:
View a group’s structure for any selected period.
Export the structure for offline reference or auditing.
Modify the structure using the Import action to upload updated group structures.
Use the Import/Export actions to maintain and manage structure changes efficiently.
How to Customize the Org Chart
You can customize the Org Chart view based on your requirements. The following customization options are available:
Select a group: Allows you to choose from the groups you create in the Group dimension or the system-group No Group.
Period selector: Allows you to choose the period for which you want to view the group structure.
Action: Allows you to import the group structure to make changes, and to export the group structure for offline use.
Select an entity: Allows you to search and navigate to a specific entity from all entities available in the selected period.
Note:
The system saves the last selection you make and restores it the next time you access the Org Chart tab.
The Actions drop-down is not available for the system-generated No Group.
In No Group, the entity cards display the consolidation status and the currency code.
In a group, the group entity’s card displays the consolidation status, accounting method, and the currency code. The same details are not available on the card of entities that belong to the selected group.
What is a No Group
No Group is a system-defined group. The system creates this group when the sub consolidation feature flag is enabled and the sub consolidation process is configured. You can view the No Group structure by navigating to Consolidation > Consolidation Control Panel > Org Chart, and then select No Group from the Select a group drop-down.
All companies that are part of the No Group are processed as standalone entities. You can initiate the consolidation process by selecting the Process option from the More menu. To learn more about initiating the consolidation process, click here.

All companies in the Company dimension are automatically assigned to the No Group.
If companies are not assigned to any group during a particular period, they are automatically assigned to No Group during that period.
