    How to Lock Compensation Items to Prevent Modification?

    In some cases, you may need to lock compensation items, such as payroll taxes, to prevent other users from making changes. The Set as Global Constant option allows you to lock compensation items when adding or editing the compensation item.

    To lock a compensation item, do the following:

    1. Navigate to Maintenance > Workforce Planning Setup > Compensation Item.

    2. If you're adding a new compensation item:
      1. Click the add icon and complete all required details.
      2. Go to the Settings tab and select the Set as Global Constant checkbox.

    3. For an existing compensation item, click Edit.
      1. In the Edit menu, select the Set as Global Constant checkbox.

    4. Save your changes.
