Introduction of Budget Page

Admin users can easily create and manage budgets. The Plan Budget Page in Planful for Marketing enables Admin users to create budgets, assign ownership, and efficiently manage budget details and segments.
Assigning a budget owner ensures accountability and better oversight of spending, while managing budgets ensures that allocations and forecasts remain accurate throughout the fiscal year.
Accessing the Budget Page
Click the Settings icon in the top-right corner of the screen.
From the Settings drop-down menu, select Budget.
The Plan Budget Page will display all the details needed to manage the marketing budget.
Understanding the Budget Page Layout
Top Right Corner – Displays the Budget Owner for the selected budget.
Center Section – Shows the Budget Name and its Current Status.
Edit Icon – Allows users to view and update planned budget details.
Two core options:
Create Budget: Launches a setup window where you define the Budget Name, Owner, Amount, Timeframe, and optional features like Forecast. This action is the starting point for any new fiscal budget and ensures all foundational data is in place. To learn more about Create Budget, click here.
Manage Budget: Opens a menu for maintaining and refining your budget. Includes actions such as:
Duplicate Budget – Copy the structure and data of an existing budget.
Edit Budget Details – Update editable fields.
Segment Actions – Group, ungroup, move, duplicate, or delete segments.
Delete Budget – Permanently remove the budget.
