Link to Global Field is available for some compensation item selections. When the Link to Global Field is selected, you can select a global field to apply to the relevant field. Global Fields are defined on the Global Fields page accessed under Maintenance > Planning Templates. Click here to learn more about Global fields.
Note:
When selecting an item which varies annually, you can assign (for example) Percentage Values which Link to Global Fields for different fiscal years.
