Dynamic Planning Spotlight User Guide Model Task

The Model task provides functionality to view and maintain the models in your application. With Model, you can:

• Select a model and run the views or reports associated with it

• See the model's structure, such as dimensions and attributes

• See what calculations, formulas, and scopes are associated with the model

• See how data flows into and out of the model and the associated maps

• See the statistics associated with the model

In the Web version of Spotlight, you use the Model Manager to create, view, and maintain models. See Model Manager.

In the Excel version of Spotlight (called SpotlightXL), you use the Model Task menus to create, view and maintain models. See Model Task in Excel.
