The following are the best practice recommendations to consider for maximizing performance:

• It is recommended to limit the maximum number of members to 10000 on a single-dimension hierarchy.
• It is recommended to have fewer levels, as it helps with performance. The maximum number of levels in your attribute hierarchy can be 5.
• It is recommended to limit the number of attributes per dimension to 5. (A maximum of 10 attributes are supported per dimension.)
