    All users involved in the workforce planning process must have appropriate user permissions. Without workforce planning user access, users cannot access the workforce planning functionalities.

    Configuration Checklist

    Refer to the checklist which is a comprehensive guide for all configurations required to set up your Workforce Planning.

    Navigate to Maintenance > Admin and complete all the tasks required for Workforce planning: First, complete all the configurations mentioned in the Initial Configurations section, and then refer to the associated configurations that must be completed.     Set-Up Process

    Follow these steps to set up workforce planning, from setting workforce defaults to employee loading using Data Load Rules (DLRs). Click here to learn more about the Workforce Planning setup.


    Go to the Explore Workforce Planning tab to discover how to navigate to the core areas for Workforce Planning.

    Maintenance

    Navigate to the Maintenance section. Within Maintenance, you will find the Workforce section, your central hub for Workforce Planning configuration and maintenance. This has the following options:



    Planning Control Panel

    Once the setup is complete, the Planning Control Panel becomes another core area where end-users will input data for Workforce Planning.

    1. Access the Planning Control Panel. 
    2. Select your scenario and designated budget entity.
    3. Select the HR - Workforce Planning Template and open it in the input mode. Now Input values with ease using the provided input mode.

    After inputting and saving values in templates, you need to process the data. Go to the Reports for Workforce Planning tab to understand how to process and view the data using reports.

    The workforce data must be processed after you make any changes to the employees. Click here to understand how you can process the data into the cube and what are the different types of reports you can generate for Workforce Planning.
